I had the idea for this silly little gag strip floating around my head since early on in Madoka, when we first saw Gertrud. Can you blame me? She's a ROSE WITCH! Add to that one insidious Mephistopheles-type character, and you've got a potential 21st-Century sister series to Utena right there.

Honestly I was always fascinated by sheer idea of "a witch as girlfriend". Knowing how diverse PMMM witches are and how any of them is unlike others it may even be possible with a certain one. Still risky but they're not completely inhuman and often have a "softer side". That's clear they're still sapient beings. Just remember "sapient" still not equals "sane".
