She said, 'They all think they know him well.' She knew him better, better, better. Everyone wanted something from him. I did, too, but I shut my mouth. He just gave me a smile.
I can't feel my right hand. The ligaments are completely fried after this. What is with this obsession with painting troll girls in pretentious art nouveau-style poses? (Just wait, Terezi is going to be a doozy, believe me!)
I feel a bit uneasy about Nepeta being the only troll in this watercolor series to be despicted in romantic pairing; I know that, despite being a minor character, she's more than just her relationship with Karkat or Equius. Still, it's a key aspect of her story, and I sympathize with the poor kid because of how pathetic and doomed her crush on Karkat was. Furthermore, my heart does indeed break a little when I contrast that with their ancestors' story.
The gold watercolors ended up looking very orange in this. Bluh. o__o

Just wow! This reminds me of Gustav Klimt mixed with religious window mosaics you find in churches. You stare at them and you know they symbolise so much and are filled with a lot of emotion, but you can't grasp all of it. I mean this in the best way since I'm left with a solemn feeling as I try to figure out its meaning. Colour me impressed. Great work. And yes I also sympathise with Nepeta. She was a god kid and seeing how things turned out, it just hurts a bit to know that maybe her love could have been requited under different circumstances. But things didn'tgo down much smoother for the Disciple. I can't really decide who got it worse.

Excellent job, particularly on Miss Leijon!
