ONMYOUJI

My sincere apologies for the 4 month-long wait between submissions. Life got in the way like never before - breakups, mounds of schoolwork, my job... but now it's Christmas vacation, and everything's calmed down. So, without further ado, here's my newest painting!

It's a fanart of the film Onmyouji, which I watched about a month ago and fell in love with. The movie itself is prone to its share of melodrama, but it's tons of fun to watch. I'm a big fan of the Heian era, so the fact that it takes place during that time period and that Abe no Seimei (the title character and the one in the front) is in it sucked me in.

That's Abe no Seimei in the front, with my personal take on Mitsumushi (his butterfly-lady-spirit guide thingie) next to him, and Minamoto no Hiromasa right behind him.
